Our company established in Aksaray in 1993, has processed the purest and whitest calcite of the World and exported it to many countries from “Europe” to “Africa”.

Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) or – with mostly used name - Calcite is a brilliant, semi-transparent, comparatively soft, coarse crystalline mineral with the hardness of 3 (Moh’s) and the density of 2.7. Calcite extracted from Mining beds is micronized by subjecting to crushing, grinding and separating processes. It is marketed either as normal micronized or coated with stearic according to sectors’ requirements. Its main function is usage as filling material.

  8. Carpet floor, oil clothhas been used in various sectors like chewing gum, toothpaste, rubber, sponge including following sectors.
In PAPER sector, micronized calcite has been used in paper and cardboard production by adding it into cellulose in different proportions. Since calcite increases the whiteness of paper, naturally grinded calcite is preferred where costs of making pulp are high. Grinded micronized calcite keeps less water and increases amount of drawn water and consequently production speed increases.

Because of its cheapness and technical properties it added to paper, calcite has been used in paper sector instead of kaoline in the World - primarily by developed Western Countries. Calcite has also contributed to environment healthy by decreasing cellulose optical whiteners in Paper sector.

In PLASTIC sector, use of calcite has increased more and more as easy-used normal micronized calcite or coated micronized calcite in hard, soft PVC (PE, PP, PS, EVA) applications because of its high whiteness, chemical purity, and cost advantage it ensured.

Micronized calcite used as filling material in plastic production, develops process and ensures higher productivity with the help of very high heat transfer by affecting high thermal conductivity and adhesiveness caused from merging because it does not contain heavy metals which cause aging in polymers, it increases resistance, it increases surface properties of the product produced and makes surface more beautiful, it increases strength against impacts, it absorbs less oil, it does not absorb softeners used in production formulas and other chemicals, it has high chemical purity, its grains do not collect together, it has homogenous distribution, it prevents wearing in machines, it has high whiteness proportion which may ensure economy from expensive white pigments as well as its filling proportion.

In PAINT sector, calcite has been used in water based paint system and has reduced costs by decreasing titanium dioxide consumption. It has also been used in producing interior and exterior coating materials in construction chemicals. The cheapest pigment used in paint sector is micronized grinded calcite. Usage of quality calcite decreases use of titanium dioxide which is required for high brilliancy and is very expensive and thereby reduces costs significantly because titanium dioxide is not used.
